Get to know the History and sausage maker of North Rose Midstate.

Hi, my name is Walt Votra.  Thank you for joining us as we move into cyberspace.  I learned how to make sausage from a past sausage maker that worked for my father-in-law until he retired.  The recipe that he used was taught to him by his mother who was an Italian immigrant in the early 1920's.  I was brought into the family business in 1980, just before the sausage maker retired.  I worked with him until he retired in 1981, and I was able to learn the method and recipe to make Italian Sausage that originated in Italy.  We still maintain the same all natural recipe with the same handmade method of production today.
